CONGRATULATIONS to Ashleigh Banfield. The Canadian-born truTV anchor was sworn in as a US citizen Friday, "14 years after coming to America via Texas, where George W. Bush was my governor and then became my president . . . I will now get to vote," Banfield told Page Six. Her co-workers surprised her with a party in her office with red, white and blue cupcakes and signs that said "Banfield for President." She said, "Perhaps the 28th Amendment will allow naturalized citizens to be president one day, and Arnold [Schwarzenegger] will lead the way."
