The Cupcake Smackdown

This morning I found an article, which at first glance startled me… Are cupcake bakeries on the way out? I sure hope not! Chicago has seen an increase in these boutique bakeries, with the establishment of Cupcakes and Swirlz, but as more appear, the question was posed “Has Chicago Had enough?”. By the looks of it, the cupcake wave is still on the rise, and no, this big city isn’t yet sick of cupcakes. With more cupcakeries appearing, the recipes are becoming more diverse, and establishments more unique. By the reviews posted it sounds like the new cupcakeries are in store for a lot of business!
